A lot of observers started to predict the fall of the extreme right after the failure of the Kaczynski government in Poland 2007 and the resignation of its coalition members. Just a few years later the …. celebrates its comeback as “National Movement” (Ruch Narodowy) and will participate in the European elections for EU parliament. But this new right formation goes far beyond the coalition for the election. The central event here is the yearly so called independence march at the 11th of November in Warsaw. It is a central meeting point for international neofascist groups, right wing hooligans and uprising autonomous nationalists. During the workshop we want to look upon the ideological footing of this right wing social movement, identify the most important players and describe the fast growing international network of the extreme right in Poland.
