Antifascist movement in ex-Yugoslavia

In the countries of the former Yugoslavia, left-wing, antifascist policy
is marginalized. The wars of the 1990s and the resulting breakup of
Yugoslavia as well as the brutal introduction of capitalism have created
new problems: the public debate is dominated by nationalism and
chauvinism. Fascist and nationalist groups determine the political scene
and openly incite against minorities. Again, it comes to violent attacks
on Roma, the LGBT community, left subculture, and activists. But
gradually evolved a new anti-fascist movement. It starts is to connect
across borders. In Zagreb, the anti-Fascist group “Alterta” exists since
several years. Activists are from spot report on their work and then
discuss. Speaker*: Activis from the anti-fascist initiative “Alerta”
